Musician Stephane Holweck has a rich background in electronic music.
He founded the legendary band JUNO REACTOR with Ben WATKiNS in 1992. This trance group, as mythical as TOTAL ECLiPSE, created music that was featured in the blockbuster movie MATRiX RELOADED, including a 13 minute track during an epic car scene on which Stephane HOLWECK collaborated with Ben WATKiNS and cinematic composer Don DAViS. He has also collaborated with YOUTH (KiLLiNG JOKE) since the beginning of his career, as well as with the biggest names in the genre, among them Simon POSFORD (HALLUCiLOGEN, SHPONGLE) and RAJA RAM (SHPONGLE, 1200 MiCS) on the groundbreaking album MYSTERY Of The YETi (1996).
TOTAL ECLiPSE has produced five albums over the course of its career ::
DELTA AQUARiDS (1995), ViOLENT RELAXATiON (1996), ACCES DENiED (1999), UPDATE FiLES (2003) and TALES OF THE SHAMAN (2009). Over the years, TOTAL ECLiPSE has remixed tracks by some of the best-known artists, among them ANNE CLARK, GONG, JUNO REACTOR, JUNGLE HiGH, and PRANA (the group created by the legendary trance DJ Tsuyoshi SUZUKi). Their extensive discography includes tracks released on BLUE ROOM, T.i.P, DRAGONFLY, TWiSTED Records, SOLSTiCE Music, WAGRAM, SONY Music, PHONOKOL, 3D ViSiON, NOVA TEKK & the famous label EYE Q Records created by the famous electronic music artist named SVEN VATH !!!
TOTAL ECLiPSE is one of the pioneering and mythical Psychedelic Trance groups from the movement formative years in the 1990s, and Stephane HOLWECK continues to fire up dancefloors around the world with this group unique sound, playing at events and festivals in Israel, Brazil, Hungary, Portugal, Japan, Turkey, France, U.s.a..

“WICKED FOREST” is a non-profitable, non-government organization consisted of group of young and creative people occupied with organization of various cultural and other manifestations, public stands, educations, working actions and similar activities with goal of strengthening and spreading cultural consciousness of youth as well as consciousness of nature preservation. Hence the “Wicked Forest”(wicked – restless, wild.) as an allusion to two extremes of modern age: today’s world of developed technologies which is changing more and more our ways of living; and, on the other hand, nature which suffers because of that progress. Our wish is to, with our acts and influences, strengthen the bond between modern high-tech world and natural environment as a unique and unbreakable entirety.
“Wicked Forest” crew in the future has plans concerning few larger festivals of alternative music on which, in addition to domestic music, visual and painting artists, foreign ones will be present; as well as organizing different thematic exhibits, public stands, concerts and many other activities which will have, beside already mentioned goals, a goal to animate visitors and offer a good fun.
Next to audio-visual and paint arts on which the accent has been put, there are plans to include film art, as well as a series of events that could raise the level of knowledge in certain aspects of youth’s life.
Therefore, it could be said that “Wicked Forest” has a goal of presenting certain values from the world of art, promoting young artists and organizing events in order to expand people’s consciousness of protection and preservation of natural environment in whose atmosphere people are feeling healthy.
The story begins:
As Belgrade’s rafts and clubs were filling with people, becoming more than boring, during the summer of 2004. several longtime friends, that were ‘’in love’’ with alternative music and nature, decided to do something different by organizing two-day outings in nature. Those gatherings were accompanied by music manifestations, and location was kept secret because the “party”, although open-air, was closed-type…friends only!!!
At everybody’s satisfaction, everything went better than expected and by the end of the year several more gatherings were organized, on other locations, under the name of “Illegals”, so that the followers of these events could be surprised by the beauty of the nature and variety of alternative sound.
Only a year later, the “Illegals” were completely coming to life and began to gather even greater number of people. Seeing the possibility of further progression, a group of young people, now experienced in organization, decides to pull in few of other creative followers and accomplish something bigger. In the middle of 2007. they organized a manifestation, which lasted for 5 days, under the name of “Wicked Forest”, in vacation area called “Jabuka”, not far from Panchevo, for which could be freely said that it was domestic festival of alternative electronic sound. During “Wicked Forest”, aside of famous djs and producers, performed somewhat less known artists.
Festival was greatly accepted from audience and with that reaction the whole “Wicked Forest” team was encouraged to continue the same path in the future.
That year “Wicked Forest” was made official.
Beside mentioned events connected to the origins of “WF” organization, a part of the crew was involved in long lasting experiences in various aspects of cultural life of Belgrade. As most essential should be mentioned cooperation with city government, as well as “Belef” center and “Cultural Center of Belgrade”, which members were working together or cooperated on almost every larger projects, as well as whole series of internal projects of Belgrade’s youth underground, of which works from “Bigz” stands out.

“WICKED FOREST” je neprofitabilna nevladina organizacija iza koje stoji grupa mladih i kreativnih ljudi koji se bave organizacijom raznih kulturnih i drugih manifestacija, javnih tribina, edukacija, radnih akcija i sličnih aktivnosti a sa ciljem jačanja i širenja kulturne svesti omladine kao i svesti o očuvanju prirode. Otuda i sam naziv organizacije (Wicked-nestašno, mangupski; Forest-šuma), kao aluzija na dva ekstrema današnjice, moderan svet visokih tehnologija koji sve više menja naše dosadašnje načine življenja, i prirode sa druge strane koja trpi zbog tog napretka. Želja nam je da našim delovanjem ojačamo vezu između savremeno-tehnološkog sveta i prirodne sredine kao jedinstvene i neraskidive CELINE.
Priča počinje ovako:
Dok su se beogradski splavovi i klubovi punili, postali i više nego dosadni, u leto 2004. godine nekoliko dugogodišnjih prijatelja, koji su već duže bili zaljubljeni u alternativnu muziku i prirodu, odlučuje da uradi nešto drugačije, organizovanjem dvodnevnog izleta u prirodu. Izlet je bio propraćen muzičkom manifestacijom, a lokacija se držala u tajnosti, jer je “žurka” iako na otvorenom, bila zatvorenog tipa…friends only!!!
Na zadovoljstvo svih, sve je prošlo i bolje nego očekivano i do kraja godine održano je par sličnih izleta, na drugim lokacijama, pod nazivom “Ilegale”, kako bi pristalice ovih događaja iznenadili lepotom prirode i raznovrsnosti alternativnog zvuka.
Samo godinu dana kasnije, “Ilegale” su u potpunosti oživele i počele da prikupljaju još veći broj pristalica. Videvši u njima mogućnost daljeg napretka, grupa mladih ljudi, sada već i organizatora, odlučuje da u celu priču za sobom povuče još nekoliko kreativnih ljudi. Sredinom 2007. godine, organizovali su petodnevnu manifestaciju pod nazivom “Wicked Forest” u izletištu Jabuka, nedaleko od Pančeva, za koji se slobodno može reći da je bio domaći festival alternativnog elektronskog zvuka. Na “Wicked Forest”-u su pored poznatih DJ-eva i producenata, nastupali i nešto manje afirmisani.
Festival je odlično propraćen od strane publike i samim tim podstakao ceo tim da nastavi istim putem i u budućnosti.
Te iste godine zvanično i nastaje WF.
Deo ekipe okupljen u toj organizaciji učestvovao je u raznim aspektima kulturnog života grada Beograda. Od bitnijih treba istaći saradnju sa gradskom vladom, Belef Centrom i Kulturnim Centrom grada Beograda, za koje su članovi radili ili sarađivali na svim većim projektima, kao i čitav niz internih projekata beogradskog omladinskog undergraund-a, od kojih je “BIGZ” sigurno najznačajniji.
Wicked Forest tim ima u planu još nekoliko festivala alternativne muzike na kojima će se pored domaćih muzičkih, vizuelnih i likovnih umetnika, pojaviti i strani; organizovanje različitih tematskih izložbi, tribina, koncerata, i mnoge druge aktivnosti koje će pored gore navedenih ciljeva imati i za cilj animiranje posetilaca i dobru zabavu.
Pored audio-vizuelne i likovne umetnosti na koje je stavljen akcenat, u planu je uključenje filmske umetnosti u celu priču, kao i niz akcija sa ciljem podizanja nivoa edukacije mladih u određenim aspektima života.
Stoga, može se reći da Wicked Forest ima za cilj prezentovanje određenih vrednosti iz sveta umetnost, promovisanje mladih umetnika, kao i organizovanje akcija radi proširenja čovekove svesti o zaštiti životne sredine i očuvanju prirode, i da kreira još jedno mesto u prirodi, u čijoj se atmosferi ljudi sjajno osećaju.
